The park is looking for perennials to put in this fall. If you have plants to share, drop them off at the park in clearly marked paper or plastic bags and they will be put into the ground within a few days.

The Victory Over Violence park is  lovely patch of fresh nature in the central city. I have worked as a volunteer from time to time and find the spirit very positive. It was transformed from an ugly  urban weedlot to a lovely site where people can sit and enjoy nature. . The law firm of Hausmann-McNally helped make this happen by investing their money and time. They say it is their way of "giving back," and I believe people are happy with the results.
