Crawdaddy's

The menu at Crawdaddy's is almost overwhelming: In addition to Cajun culinary stables such as crab, lobster, jambalaya and po-boys, they also offer one of the city's largest selections of fresh fish. There's a handful of items you won't find at the average seafood restaurant, either, such as frog legs. Mahi mahi ($19.99) also gets a Latin treatment with a mashed plantain crust, a sweet passion fruit sauce and a tart tomatillo salsa. A combination of scallops and shrimp in a Jamaican jerk marinade ($19.99) is served over angel hair pasta. Unique, deep-fried appetizers and hearty Southern desserts are also big draws here, and many dishes are served with a heaping helping of pan-fried potatoes.
