The service here is as warm as the décor. The tables are few and the menu also is small, but the bar manages to stock a decent number of Mexican beers and premium tequilas. The menu that is vegetarian-friendly and even has a few salads, which most local Mexican restaurants shun. The items served have enough extra character to make Oaxaca Grill well above ordinary. The main dishes are standard fare: tortas, tostadas, enchiladas, soft-shell tacos and chimichangas with a choice of three meats, chicken, chipotle grilled flank steak and pork carnitas, plus vegetarian queso fresco. The flank steak is more tender than the cuts used at most other local Mexican establishments.
