La Merenda is Italian for "snack" and the focus of the menu is tapas. Perhaps the term "tapas" should be substituted with "small plates," however, as the interesting menu spans a worldwide list instead of focusing
specifically on Spain. Head chef Peter Sandroni, who brings experience
from Dream Dance and Eagan's, is up to the challenge of such a diverse
menu. Lunch combines a few international tapas with sandwiches, while the dinner menu consists of just hot or cold tapas with a few side dishes. Each table comes with a stack of small plates that makes sharing items a simple task.
