Fill and refill your fiesta-colored cup with coffee from urns at the end of the bar. It's lunchtime at Cubanitas, the city's first Cuban restaurant, and Downtowners wait in line to be seated. The bar works just fine if every table is taken, and the
menu-minus the excellent guacamole with plantain chips-is the same as in the evening. For those not especially hungry, try the Caribbean salads or empanadas stuffed with spinach and cheese or chicken and olives in place of the hearty Cuban sandwiches and entrees. Or put together a starchy meal from side dishes such as Spanish rice, red beans and Cubanitas' wonderful yuca fritas' superb substitute for french fries any time of day.
