As in Italy the first courses at this winning Italian restaurant are pastas, the second meats. The pastas are all made in house. Linguine profundo ($10.95) is a bowl of pasta with shrimp, spinach and fresh porcini mushrooms. The garlic and white wine sauce takes control in this fine dish. Try the gnocchi Piedmontese ($9.95), northern Italian potato dumplings in a tomato sauce with a meaty ragu of rabbit, duck and beef tenderloin. There are also pizzas. Every dish here is a winner, and the prices are unbeatable. This is very affordable fine dining.
