Tucked away in Concourse D at the Mitchell Airport, the Milwaukee Legends cafe offers food fair better than your usual airport fare. The menu includes sandwiches, salads, breakfast items and a sausage plate as an entre. The specialty is panini, which they fill with pepperoni, Genoa sausage, roasted red pepper, pesto mayo, lettuce and a garlic balsamic vinaigrette. A side salad of field greens, with the same vinaigrette, is far better than most restaurants offer.
