Learn the basics of the sewing machine and various textiles. Find closure by sewing buttonholes and zippers. Practice folding, cutting, and pinning techniques. Create examples of surface design processes including applique, piping, blind hems, puckering, pleating, and quilting. Construct a carrying cozy for iPod, phone, books, or money.
