The Elmbrook Historical Sociey invites car enthusiasts, ice cream lovers and history buffs to another "Summer Sunday" at the Dousman Stagecoach Inn, 1075 Pilgrim Parkway in Brookfield, Wisconsin on Sunday, August 3, 2008. Featured "events include: A "Classic Car Display" that will be held from 1:00 pm - 4:00 pm on the grounds of the Dousman Stagecoach Inn. Admission to the "Classic Car Display" is free. Come and see truly unique/limited edition automobiles that are rarely seen on the road. Then relax and enjoy an Old Fashioned Ice Cream Social. Luscious ice cream sundaes will be sold at the Dousman Stagecoach Inn from 1:00 to 4:00 pm. Single scoop sundaes with choice of two toppings will sell for $2.00. Double scoop sundaes with choice of two toppings will sell for $3.00. Finish up the day with a tour of the historic Dousman Stagecoach Inn. Built in 1843, the Dousnman Stagecoach Inn has beeb carefully restored and furnished with authentic Wisconsin artifacts. Learn about the families who stayed at the Inn as they traveled along the Plank Road.View a special exhibit of British antique miniature dollhouses currently on display at the Inn. Marvel at the detail of this equisite collection. See the Wagon/ Blacksmith shop, an ice house, a smoke house and an authentic log cabin/frame Visitor's Center/ Gift Shop.
