CWNA - History of the East side part 2 with Pieter Godfrey

Join restoration architect and local historian Pieter Godfrey for part two of his personally researched exploration of the history Cambridge Woods, on Milwaukee´s historic Eastside. The title of the talk is "Into the Twentieth Century" and will look at what historical documents and photos reveal about the area along the Milwaukee River as it flows through the Eastside neighborhoods from Shorewood to North Ave. Bring your own documents and photos to contribute to this work. The presentation is free to the public and sponsored by the Cambridge Woods Neighborhood Association. It will be held on Tuesday, May 20th at 7 %u2013 8:30 pm in the Urban Ecology Center community room, 1500 E. Park Place,%u2028Milwaukee. Alderman Nic Kovac will also be in attendance to update residents on his plans and first few weeks in office.
