Community Gardening Project

Come join Prevent Child Abuse America and Walnut Way Conservation Corp. for an afternoon of fresh air and community service. Walnut Way is a grassroots, community development organization located just a few miles from the downtown Midwest Airlines Center. One of their many long-term initiatives to revitalize the neighborhood is an expansive gardening project aimed to improve the community´s civic engagement, environmental stewardship, and economic enterprise. Please join us that Sunday afternoon, May 18th to kick off the 2008 growing season. Tools, transportation, and refreshments will be provided.
