The end of opening weekend at Miller Park brings with it the hope of a winning season to Brewers fans everywhere. My peers who weren't able to witness the excitement of 1982 believe that 2008 will be the lucky year. Sadly I wasn't able to attend any of the games this weekend, but driving past full parking lots and seeing clips on the news was enough to convince me that I missed out on a great deal of fun.
If there's one thing I love about baseball it would have to be tailgating. Milwaukee is of course known for our unique celebration of our finest brats and beers, we like to show off our grilling skills to strangers, throw baseballs next to rows of automobiles, and drink as much as possible before entering the stadium. $6.00 a beer, are they crazy?
If there's another thing I love about baseball it would have to be the crowd it draws. Miller park seems to draw in a diverse crowd. Just following basketball, baseball has players that represent a wide variety of races and ethnicities. I think that Brewer games hold the widest range of fans in Milwaukee.
Also, the sausage races, I can't forget the sausages.
What do you find to be the best aspect of Miller Park?
