Catch Them While You Can

Though its still uncertain whether March will go out like a lamb there's still a lionshare of artwork to be seen in Milwaukee before the month ends. Here are a few things to catch while you can:

- VJAA Case Study at UWM's School of Architecture and Urban Planning: You only have until March 28 to see plans, sections and models of Telluride House designed by award-winning architecture firm Vincent James Associate Architects, famed for their elegantly detailed, site sensitive designs.

- Seats of Justice at City Hall: Furniture by Milwaukee Community Service Corps which explores our yearning for and symbolism we associate with justice.

- 35th Annual Juried Show at UWM's Union Gallery: Through April 4 you can see the work of some of Miwaukee's most talented emerging artis

- Cloaking Devices at Racine Art Museum: Artwork, often wearable, insprired byclothing through March 30

 

- Inaugural Exhibition at Spackle Art Gallery: Go to the newly opened Spackle on 2674 S. Kinnickinnic Ave. and check out the work of Clark Redall, Amy O' Neil and M. Warren Lee

- Better Homes and Gardens at MWA: The vivid,vaguely unsettling photographs of Naomi Shersty are on display at Museum of Wisconsin Art through March 30

- Latin Artists Emerging in Milwaukee at Walkers Point Center for the Arts: See the work of artists Orlando de la Garza, Jesus Ali Ross, Christian Munox and more through April 19

- MARN Mentors Exhibition at Hotcakes: This new exhibition which opens March 28 shows you what happens when established artists and administrators are paired up with Milwaukee's emerging talent. Opening reception March 28, 6-9 p.m.

-Shelly Rosenquist at Menomonee Falls Public Library: Local artist Shelly Rosenquist is invited by the Arts Guild of Menomonee falls to present her brightly colored pastel paintings on handmade wood canvases. Takes place at 6 p.m. at Menomonee Public Library, W156 N8436 Pilgrim Road
