Universal Principles or Metaphysical Laws, they are the same, are working in your life, whether you believe in them or not. These are the Laws of Nature and no man can escape from them. Wouldn’t it stand to reason, if something is so much a part of your natural existence, you would want to know about them and how they work?

The first Universal Principle will be our topic.It is called Mentalism. In other words, your thoughts create your reality. Your body must follow mind. It is this principle that the movie The Secret was all about. The “Secret” really is not a secret at all. The Law of Attraction ( which falls under the Principle of Mentalism) that the movie talks about was not just found or discovered after being hid away for thousands of years. The principles have been available throughout time to anyone who had an interest to find them and learn them.I have been teaching these principles for years.

Mentalism is the first Principle because it is the most important. This principle is the foundation upon which all other laws follow.It is very simple in definition: the body must follow mind, and all manifestations will happen according to mind ( your thoughts).Well then, with that said, let us explore this a bit more.

I know it is a hard concept for many to believe, but who you are, what you have, or do not have, your life situations, your relationships, yes and even your health, are all of your own doing. Yes, this is really true. I will do my best to provide you with an explanation, however you will need to contribute by continuing with a very open mind. Unless you continually, by use of you free will, keep opening your mind to new ideas and concepts, and in this case to very old universal principles, then you will stay in the life and situations that you are currently in, or even go backwards. Expansion and growth is always necessary for happiness and an improved good life.

 

Thoughts are things. They have size, shape, color and vibration and these are all determined by the kind and nature of the thought. Thoughts of murder, violence, anger, hatred, are all of a very ugly shapes, they are very gray and muddy in color and they vibrate at a very low vibration.Whereas thoughts of love, kindness, creation, happiness are beautifully shaped, with gorgeous and bright colors, vibrating at a very high vibrational rate. These thought forms go out and do your bidding. They form and create your life.

If you have fallen into the belief or habit of thinking that life happens to you, be informed that it happens because of you. The law of attraction falls under the Principle of Mentalism. This law gives you what you think. In other words, it attracts to you what you think about most. If you pray one hour a day for the right kind of partner to come into your life, or about health, or having more money, but then you go around the rest of the day dwelling on, or worrying about, or complaining that you have just the opposite, then what you give your attention to will happen. In this case you will continue to have what you do not want.

I've been working with the concept of attraction for some time now. When I first start trying to draw something into my life, it seems as if things get temporarily worse before they get better. For example, I'm trying to bring in better health and I come down with the flu. I've noticed this on a few occasions and I've even read that it can happen. Can you give some insight as to why this would be?
One of two things can be happening. Either you are concentrating on poor health subconsciously, or there may be something from the past or a past lifetime that is getting in the way of free and flowing thoughts of pure health. It is hard, somethimes to know that the subconscious mind is in control. Just keep up the good work on getting healthy, but be sure that is all you think about. You may, on a subconscious level, still be concerned with bad health. Work with your conscious mind to direct your thoughts and once that becomes a habit, you will have what you want without waiting for it.
