Well recently I've heard two new albums the "Bronzeville" by D.Ellzey and others which is free for download and u can listen before you do at
http://www.datpiff.com/Various-Umbrella-Music-Group-Bronzeville-mid18421.html
A well produced album good mixture of artists to introduce people to a united effort on a scale of 1-6 I would give it a 4 because from the sound of it they have some more material ready but they aren't giving all the heat free lol.
Now I can't forget this second album "Dreaming in Greyscale" by RaZe and a couple features but not too many for his solo debut which u can cop at
http://cdbaby.com/cd/raze
Another well produced album pretty much it's damn near a audiobiography of his life up to now and the picture was painted clearly for all to see.
P.S. I might start writing more details of what I've heard if I even continue to blog here about the local scene of hip hop music but those are two nice albums I feel are worthy to check out.
