As far as I’m concerned, a sale tax for transit is all right by me. Why? Why should homeowners get shafted? Sometimes I use the bus regularly. Like making purchases at the store. And I rent. There must be a lot of renters out there in Milwaukee. Probably three to one, renters to homeowners. Sure, I wish I could be a homeowner, but sometimes it hard to pay our bills. And using the bus it’s cheaper then always getting the gas for the car. Cars are expensive to drive. Only thing I don’t like about buses is the fare keep going up and the services keeps getting smaller and smaller. If you are listening, Walker, a sale tax is a good thing for everyone, not only homeowners. I always felt that Walker is bad for the city and county of Milwaukee. Especially transit and parks. Why must we have to pay a service fee for corpations to use our buses and parks? A sale tax is a half-penny. I think I can afford that.
