There's a lot of talk lately connecting the 40 drowning deaths of college aged men to a gang of serial killers working together across the country.
Drowning is the third leading cause of accidential death, and males are more likely to drown than females, especially ages 18-24.
New evidence has come up regarding the deaths and the string of smiley faces appearing at the drowning sites in 5 states. Other evidence includes one man whose arms were found folded across his chest in a matter that led police to believe his death was not accidential.
At the scene of a drowning in Michigan was the word "Sinsiniwa," the name of a street where victim Matt Kruziki was last seen before being found dead in Iowa.
Former Waukesha County Sheriff Bill Kruziki, Matt's father, was being interviewed on the radio this morning-- he believes the FBI needs to do a better job investigating the drownings, and he claimed that if the victims were female there would be a different set of circumstances regarding the investigation.
I'm curious as to what you think. In talking with others I've heard some interesting opinions and reasons.
Are the drownings tragic accidents or the result of serial killers?
