Poor J

So, it's been a while since we've written anything or did any updating with the page. No excuses, we just put "Poor J" on the back-burner for a while. Other than the occasional gig, we didn't play out too much in 2007. Absence makes the heart grow fonder... Eoin had a chance to play primarily with his uncle Tiagh as "Eoin Rua," and with his family's tradition Irish band, "Finbar MacCarthy & Friends," as well as playing some solo gigs. J joined the Wisconsin Roots-Rock group, "Vinny Bex Dae" and spent the majority of 2007 touring the state with VBD as the percussion section of the unique trio. But, after some time off, a discussion, and a car accident for J, "Poor J" is going to begin their domination of 2008!! Look for a show near you! We plan on playing out a couple days a week, so now you can once again get your "Poor J" fix! Shows are being booked and festivals are already being sought out and we've already begun planning for The Refugee Stage, Summerfest 2008 as well. PLUS...Practice has begun on new songs in preparation for another trip into the studio. We hope to begin work recording an album by summer.
