The article “No More Classical Radio” (Dec. 27) by Obie Yadgar touched a nerve. Yadgar’s thoughts and conclusions are right on target. The Jan. 24 edition contained two articles (actually three, counting the cover story) of significance. First Mr. Conason hit the nail on the head describing our debacle in Iraq (“What They Call ‘Progress’ in Iraq”).
I’m responding to this quote from EarthTalk: “The remaining Republicans (Rudy Giuliani, Fred Thompson and Ron Paul) have, at best, been noncommittal on climate change and environmental issues in general.”

The Painted Parrot (8028 W. National Ave.) is a fun, colorful restaurant that follows a Caribbean theme. Jamaican murals cover the walls and reggae music blasts from behind the large bar. The menu wanders through the Caribbean with a few Louisiana touches
