Horror Film Trailer Festival and Costume Party

Let's face it: Most of us don't have the resources or the dedication to create an entire horror film. That's why the Alchemist Lounge is hosting its Horror Film Trailer Festival, a chance for average horror fans to create one or two-minute long previews for horror films that don't necessarily exist-just film 120 or so seconds of various scares and patch them together with some tense music or perhaps some overblown voiceover dialogue. To submit, visit the Alchemist's Web site (click the link below). They'll screen the trailers and host a costume party on Oct. 31 at 8 p.m.
