While plenty of other vintage clothing stores reconfigure their selection to become holiday-appropriate, Closet Classics already sells costumes all year round, stocking the same sexy nurse, sexy maid, sexy just-about-anything costumes that the major Halloween chains do. Their expansive selection of vintage clothing, though, offers an endless supply of novel accessories you won't find at a chain store: hats, shoes, ties, scarves, jewelry, etc. If you have a period-themed costume in mind, start your search here. I've been shopping at Closet Classics since I was kid, literally. They are an institution in Milwaukee vintage kitsch. You'll find a unique costume here, not just some overpriced, poorly made clown-suit-in-a-bag. Have fun digging through their huge selection of stuff (two stories!) and grab a coffee before you leave (they have a little cafe too). Shop local, don't just go to one of those tacky chain stores.

The woman downstairs is increasingly rude everytime i go there and she is of no help and i am there to spend money.... f-her.
