The Milwaukee County Zoo gets in the Halloween spirit a bit early with its annual Trick-or-Treat Spooktacular, a safe way for the young ones to collect a little extra candy and learn a thing or two about animals in the process-zookeepers will be highlighting creatures of the night like vampire bats and tarantulas. A Halloween maze, "ghost" train rides and a Saturday parade are among the other draws. The Spooktacular is Friday, Oct. 24, 6 - 9 p.m., and Saturday, Oct. 25, 9 a.m. - 9 p.m.
