River Rhythms

Tonight @ Pere Marquette Park - 6:30 to 9 p.m.

By Shepherd Express Staff

The weekly, Wednesday-night concert series River Rhythms continues tonight from 6:30 to 9 p.m. at Pere Marquette Park. Tonight’s performer is Steve Cohen, a blues harmonica player who networks with some of the Milwaukee blues scene’s more prolific members. Cohen’s brand of blues is about as traditional as local blues music gets, and it’s peppy and up-tempo enough for the kids to boogie along with.

We have been at the Wednesday concerts for a couple of weeks and we enjoyed the music except for one thing, it is way too loud. Please have them turn down the volume. We have been to other free concerts in the Milwaukee area and the sound is not so loud.
