Our Town
UWM's Kenilworth Studio 508, 1925 E. Kenilworth Place
Thornton Wilder's 1938 masterpiece is an impassioned response to the reality of death. A radical formal experiment in its time, it has survived countless high-school productions to stand as the quintessential American drama. The artistic directors of our town's essential experimental theater will disassemble and adapt it to stand as a tribute to their colleague Ed Burgess, who died just three nights after finishing the run of this company's beautiful Isadora and Nijinsky last May.
