March 1-17
George Orwell's 1984
Alchemist Theatre, 2569 S. Kinnickinnic Ave.
Big Brother comes to the small stage as Project Empty Space and Bad Example Productions present an adaptation of George Orwell's classic dystopian story. The play begins as Winston Smith is arrested and incarcerated by a wicked totalitarian government. To remind the man of his crimes, a group re-enacts scenes found in his diary. Dramatic intensity meets intimacy in the small and cozy Alchemist Theatre.
