An award-winning comedy by the wild-haired genius Sir Tom Stoppard, a virtuoso of intellect and witty philosophical dialogue, Heroes is about living in the past and dreaming of the future. A peevish threesome of World War I vets, trapped in the unfriendly confines of a French hospital, has nothing but time. The three men spend it reminiscing on the days when they were young and life was meaningful, and concocting an escape plan so they can be free once again.
