Milwaukee’s hard-working, hard-networking alternative-pop duo Fever Marlene plays a 10 p.m. show at Shank Hall tonight with local openers The Selfish Gene. Fever Marlene’s last album, Civil War, earned considerable local airplay for the single “Red Fire.” The group’s latest, White China, explores more dreamy, Beatles-esque melodies.
