NEIGHBORHOOD DOG PARADE

It’s hard to miss the sight of lots of four-legged cuties prancing or tiptoeing—depending on the breed—down Brady Street. You can take in this unique scene at the Brady Street Dog Parade, held the first Sunday in October. Along with the parade, a blessing for the canines is scheduled in honor of St. Francis Assisi’s compassion for animals. (K.H.)
