Milwaukee
has become a bicycle-friendly city thanks to more than 65 miles of painted
lanes, abundant bike racks and even a Web site for directions
(www.MilwaukeeByBike.org). The Hank Aaron State Trail has been earning rave
reviews, but local bike lovers have long enjoyed the Oak Leaf Trail, which
takes cyclists on a lengthy tour of the city, through many county parks and
neighborhoods. (Caroline Goyette)
