Formed in Milwaukee, WI, in 1997, Freshwater Collins continues to slay audiences nationwide with their unique take on psychedelic rock and roll. Refusing to be pigeonholed as simply "stoner-rock," Freshwater Collins are currently working very hard on over-compressing their (already) big drum sounds and over-saturating the tape machine with extra guitar on their yet to be titled new album. The forthcoming record, produced by Beau Sorensen (Death Cab for Cutie, Sparklehorse), will be the bands fifth LP.

the meantime, feel free to purchase (several copies) of their latest
album release "These Days Lately". The band worked on the record with
renowned producer Mike Hoffmann (Violent Femmes) for
over a year to create this album.
Freshwater Collins are also
building momentum through spirited live performances throughout the
country as well as major festival performances alongside The Flaming
Lips, My Morning Jacket, The Go! Team, The Black Crowes, and Kings of
Leon. "These Days Lately" is out now - go pick it up at your favorite
record store or use the link below.
Have a blast representing Milwaukee in Austin! Go and melt faces! I'll be looking forward to the blogs from the fest too.
Speaking of the Black Crowes, anyone else hear that Luther Dickenson has joined them to fill in the empty guitar spot? Should be a great addition to the band, but what will happen to North Mississippi Allstars?
